Ashley Price, 24

Blogging landed Ashley Price a job with Dell. Over the next year, while she completes her graduate studies, she’ll also be working as a campus ambassador for the computer company. But her dream is to work for a nonprofit organization that deals with health disparities. To that end, Price is researching how minority patients’ relationships with their physicians affect what information they disclose and, ultimately, their health.

And then there’s her blog, funnyexposures.wordpress.com. The subject is epidemiology, a heavy topic, but Price keeps the voice light. “I think one of the key components of public health is how you display information to the public,” Price says. “And I think trying to be witty and not always taking it so seriously is an opportunity for more people to read it.” Back to Millennials
